A taste of things to come...

If it's not too late I'd like to wish anyone reading this a very Happy New Year and hope you have a cracking year ahead of you. As you may or may not have noticed I haven't posted a blog in a while. It started as a conscious decision to take a little break from the blog which then became a longer break which then gave me a chance to think about things. Mainly about food, but that's no real change. In my little sabbatical I've reignited my passion for cooking. Thinking up of new ideas, recipes and feeding people which I find very rewarding and makes me and hopefully the recipient happy. That's really what it comes down to, being happy.

Writing the blog has been such a blast and I really enjoy doing it but the best thing about it is the people you meet.
Whilst writing this blog I've been lucky enough to meet some people along the way who have really inspired me. Their stories, attitude, passion and commitment to what they do have made me think about what I want to do and how I want to move forward in the world of food.

So with that in mind over the last few months I've tried to hone my skills and ideas and hope to switch my focus on the blog from reviewing to cooking to who knows what else.........
All I can say for sure is that it's going to be an interesting year.
